The coffee comes from Brazil, from the Fazenda Passeio plantation, owned by Adolfo Henrique Vieira Ferreira. Coffee is named after the summit of Pico Mirante, which is the highest peak in the Serra do Pau D᾽Ahlo mountain range. On the slopes of this mountain, at an altitude of 1100m - 1200m, are coffee plantations from the estate Fazenda Passeio.
